Location: Sahuarita, AZ (about 30 minutes south of Tucson)

USA Triathlon rules apply.  Other rules and updated course info will be in your packet.
This is a USA Triathlon sanctioned event.  All competitors must be either an annual member or purchase a one day membership ($7, included in entry fee)
Snell/ANSI Helmets required.  No floatation devices allowed.

USAT wetsuit rules will be followed. The water temperature will be taken on Sunday morning at the approximate start time of the race and posted at packet pick-up. The final ruling on wetsuit use, however, will not be made until race morning after the water temperature has again been measured. The final ruling on wetsuit use will be announced race morning prior to the start.

Course Details

Swim
The open water swim will be an out and back course, 1k in total length.

Bike
The bike course is an out and back course, 25k in total length. Details and maps of course will be available soon.

Run
The run course winds through the beautful streets of Rancho Sahuarita, 5k in total length.

Transitions
There is a single transition area, in a large newly paved parking lot immediately adjacent to the lake, and the fitness center.

Relays are available in the following categories:

Corporate

Family relay members must be related, corporate relay members must be employed by same company.

All relay members must sign waiver at packet pickup

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will be at Full Cycle, 3302 E. Speedway Blvd., Sun. May 26,  11am to 5pm.  You can also pickup your packet on race day BEFORE 6:30am.

Prerace Meeting

T-shirts will be awarded at the finish line.   Awards will be presented 3 deep in each age category.

Triathlon:

Subtract $7 if USAT member.  For relays, subtract $7 for each USAT member on the relay team.  You MUST present your card(s) at packet pickup.

$57 if received by TriTucson on or before May 15
$67 if received by TriTucson after May 15
No race day registration !!

$120 if received by TriTucson on or before May 15
$132 if received by TriTucson after May 15
No race day registration !!

50% refunds up until and including May 15, 2002

5k Run:
5K Entry fee is $18.
